Hi guys, I don't remember I ever post 1590a build... So be gentle :D This is mine 4th phase 90 build and it is mine favourite. It is build on the pickdropper's board and it sounds really great. I've used bunch of different caps types (also burned one), fets were matched with +/- 0,01 V and I also used Thomas 1590a 3pdt pcb. Enclosure was etched with HCl and H2O2 and as you can see it is simple design. :)
Few pics and that's it
Cheers
Brane

Super build and as tight as they come I'd say :o! Great shoehorning!
Simple, nice, tidy :) love it :)
seems like a very tight fit ;) nice job
Thanks guys, yeah I had just enough space to fit it.. :D And I should put sticker on the knob, 'cause this setting will be used the most of time.
Great work. Nothing like a good 4 stage phazor

Thanks, I agree with you. This is for mine second pedalboard that I am working on. Plan is: Univibe-phase 90- small stone. :)
Very nice, Brejna. I like the etch.
No need to apologize for such a great build Brane. Nice work!

heh that sounds awesome.
yeah, I've never cared much for the phazors that are more than 4 stages, dunno. Just seem over the top to me, and more like a gimmick than a tone enhancer/exciter
Looks great!
This looks great! Nice clean graphic and guts! cant wait to hear it!
Looks very good indeed and nice etch (I know for myself how much pain a good toner transfer can be).
But please, do not use the combination of HCl and H2O2! This combination will generate Chlorine gas which is very, very nasty stuff, which can give you e.g. lung edema. This should only be done in a professional environment with proper ventilation (fume hood!!). A good friend of mine had to suffer through this as he didn't have the ventilation at the time... HCl alone or NaOH will do the trick just as good!
Thats a tight fit. Well done!
Thanks guys for kind words :)

When I etch enclosures I do that always outdoor, never indoor. It really can get nusty with vapours, especially with HCl +H2O2 combination. I am getting NaOH this week, so I will definitely avoid HCl and H2O2. Thanks for pointing me things about Chlorine and lung edema, I knew something could go wrong with lungs, but didn't know details.
Looks great! I tried to make one of these but could not get mine to work. I finally gave up. I should take a look again, but I don't really know what could be wrong. I don't see any mistakes and the build went together very easily.
I knew I should've picked one up! That's awesome, nicely done.

Thanks, maybe it is time try again and debbug it. Month ago I took a build 2 years old and got it working.

:D Thanks Jimilee. 1590a builds are always fun and phase90 is musthave pedal..
