I've reused an old enclosure that I've had forever, it was already drilled for two switches. I put a Cherrybomb on one side that I finally managed to build well and got it sounding where I want it. I don't know what to put on the other side of the pedal. I am opened to drilling another hole for another pot as well but would somehow prefer to do a one-knober. The toggle switches on the side are unused and were already there when I took the enclosure out from my closet.
I wouldn't like another gain circuit in there. Would rather have some modulation in there or some shocking effect like an oscillating octave fuzz or something whacky. Dunno.

How about an inductor-less wah? Or, a Phase 45?
Hm...good good, that is good. Although even though I've made the phase 90 I cannot seem to be able to do a good sounding 45, it's in my box of shame.
Put a boost in and use the unused toggles for order switchers and always on? You've got a pile of options for small boost circuits out there from MB, JMK, Grind, etc.
EDIT - sorry, didn't read your comment about not wanting another gain circuit. Nonetheless, a clean boost like the Bacon Boost might be a good fit.
I'll definitely try the beavis audio tremolo inductorless wah. Thanks Brian for steering me in this direction!
