Surprisingly, I would say yes. I am an SG person, and still this somehow looks very good to me. Provided that the headstock stays the same as in any SG.
Yes, ok.
SG telecaster ?
Very original,
Yes.
Mich P.
Definitely yes.
What I'm not willing to accept (yet) are LPcasters they all look awful (in my humble opinion)
I think the pickguard here really helps. And also the dots instead of the inlays. In this particular case these two changes make the guitar better balanced to me as opposed doing the usual SG pickguard and inlay stuff. Dunno, I was surprised at the extent of how much I liked this.
It looks surprisingly OK. Although, I'd have to change two things. I like SG's and kinda like Teles, but I hate pickguards. So, I'd have to get rid of that. But mainly, the Tele controls need to be pulled far enough up to get to the volume while you play.
I like it, in a weird sort of way. Set neck or bolt on?
Hell yes!
Nope.

a SeleGaster??? It looks a little weird but I'd go for it, provided the headstock stays the same...like you said.
It took a few seconds for me to register the Telecasterness of it. I just thought it was a really cool SG. But a really cool SG with Telecaster chime seems even better.
I'd go for a yes as well, but I'd put a P-90 in the neck.
Can you make guitar noises with it? Does it plug into an amplifier?
Then why the heck not?

P90 in the neck would be cool. I think it'd look good with a Bigsby, too. :-)
Looks like a fun guitar.
Love it
SG = quintessential blues guitar... needs a humbucker in the bridge. But what do I know?
That would be a yes.
i wouldn't discriminate against it

What contrarian anti-GAS madness is this? ;) Of course, the answer is YES!! (but flip the controls as suggested by someone else; I really like that on my tele. I also put in 4-way switching; not a big payoff by comparison to the flip.)
Have you played it? Interested to know what the scale length is and whether you think it has a noticeable effect on tele-tone.
