Post by: copachino on December 01, 2014, 03:40:08 PM
hi all, i have a bad problem with my SHO circuit i have used many layouts, including Rullywow OSH pcbs, but i always have a pop in the pedal, i have used many different caps on the ouput cap its a 10uf, and nothing change, pulldown resisotors, now i will try with nichicon capacitors, but still im not so sure if that its the problem, does anybody have a problem like this in that circuit??

I've had a problem with the SHO just recently and a new fresh Alpha switch remedied the pop nicely. That blue Taiwan switch is no good.
On another note, you should try the new Mute switches by TH Custom. Not just that you'll be pop-free but it's gonna make your pedals much more professional and less prone to failure since relays are so much better.
No affiliations to Thomas and TH Custom, but I am a fan.
Cheers

I just got a bunch of the Ueberswitch boards from THcustom and they are so well designed!
Haven't put them into a pedal yet, but I think they will be awesome.
