Title: Adding a dry/kill switch to Moodring
Post by: pogart on December 08, 2014, 11:26:54 PM
Almost finished the moodring board and looking ahead I realized I am unsure of how to wire up the kill/dry switch. Still fresh on building pedals so any advice would be greatly appreciated : )
Thanks

Hey Pogart. It's not a terribly complicated wiring, and if you check out the wiring diagrams in the build docs, you'll see that it's included there.

Essentially, you'll need a spdt switch. Wire the square pad to the centre lug, and the other pad to one of the sides. Done.

Even a dpdt switch will work. You just need a switch to make it work, and make sure that the two break connection one way, and make connection the other way.

Cool thanks Jacob, is that the same for the little toggle switch (dry/kill switch at the top of the enclosure drill template for the moodring?
