Title: Zero point sdx DE-7 tunning help.
Post by: garfo on December 13, 2014, 02:46:20 PM
Ei there, I have built the Zero point SDX a while back. I have used and owned the Ibanez DE-7 before and really loved that pedal.
The Zero Point SDX, on tape mode, has a similar saturation but it gets into weird oscillation pretty quickly as in 1 o`clock . Is there a way of fine tuning this section of the circuit so that the Tape Delay doesn't go into crazy oscillation so soon?

Easiest way to do this is to lower the output of that section. Socket R35 and gradually increase the value there. Try 2k up to 4k7.

I have doubled the resitor on that position and there's a bit moreof control, still, not much, but that's the spirit of the beast.
Now that I have come back at this pedal I couldn't stop noticing that Analogue mode has noticeable more volume than the other positions. Is it supposed to be like this?
