Title: OCD pots log or lin?
Post by: buildafriend on May 21, 2011, 06:53:06 PM
Hey can anyone verify if the pots on the OCD clone are log or linear? I want to make sure I have ordered the right ones.

Also, any tips when building this pedal?

Gain and volume are audio (logarithmic) and the tone pot is linear.

The code

A = audio/log
B = linear
C = reverse audio

There are a few specialty tapers too like W, S, G and ICAR.

That is the American coding system. I think for the European system the Log and Lin are switched (log = B; lin = A) don't quote me on that. All of the documentation you will find here uses the American coding system.
