Title: ROG Britannia 1776 board...
Post by: blearyeyes on December 25, 2014, 02:00:38 AM
Here's my latest build. Nothing like some of the other recent build reports. Just me plodding along trying to be better!

This is my favorite sounding circuit to date!  You did a FRICKIN great job on this Dan. Really awesome build.

That's gorgeous Dan. I love the graphic and those knobs look fantastic on there.

Great build inside and out. Funny, I was just thinking about boxing up my Brittania and was going to use a flag like that too.

Holy smokes that's a GREAT decal!  Some crazy-tidy guts too!  Nice build.  How do you like it sound-wise?  What kind of amp do you play it though?  I've been considering this build for a while ...

I have a marshall Valvestate and a Bugera tube amp, so far I've only fired up the circuit to verify it worked through the tube amps clean channel and it sounded great. The docs from ROG say to run it through a solid state so I built it for the marshall cause the clean channel on the marshal has the character of a frozen road kill. I have just boxed it and it's working so I'll have to actually play one of these days. First impressions: I like it a lot, nothing else quite like it.

Well it is the obvious choice, the pedal begs for the Union jack..

Glorious build. The Union Jack might be an obvious choice but it's a great image and it's been beautifully executed. It's even the right way up! I came over all patriotic when I saw it.  :D
