Title: JMK 5 Knob Fuzz
Post by: AntKnee on January 06, 2015, 04:21:58 PM
Just finished this one. It sounds great, but may need some more tweaking or swapping out different trannies. Its going to be a fun one to play around with.

Looks great! I just finished one too (my first germanium fuzz) - likely won't get as much live use as some of the silicon fuzzes I've built (which seem more stable/predictable), but it's an interesting alternative.

That's a very tidy build. Lots of fun in a small box! I found a list of suggested settings for a certain type of 5 knob fuzz that made a useful starting point...

This is my first fuzz, but my 31st pedal build. I really like it, but noisy pedals are my favorite.

Great build!  Reminds me of the TV show Car 54 Where Are You?

Boy am I old...

Have you checked out the Christine Fuzz? Easy build, not my fav for straight up fuzz tones, but it does crazy oscillating very well, and I added some momentary switches and an external LDR for further real time tweaking.
