Muaha! It finally arrived! I've been waiting a few month for it to be made for me!
A single cone resophonic from Amistar! Loud and metallic!

Beautiful!
That F hole looks awesome.
Congrats!! I have wanted a resonator for so long, even though I have absolutely no use for it. I just love the way they sound.
My jealousy knows no bounds. Congrats!
Awesome! Looks fab!
I can highly recommend these strings for resonator:

if you tune down to open D or open G use the heavy gauge 16.18.27w.39.49.59., despite the enormous gauge their tension is lower than normal and it will be fine.
If you tune up to open A or open E then the gauge 13.17.26w.36.46.56. will be better. I use and like the nickel ones. :)
Can it play metal though?
sorry couldn't resist ;D
Awesome axe dude!

Thanx guys. Obviously i have spent some hours playin her now, and it feels ... very special. I'm into some regression phase i think, from digital to analog to acoustic.
@ cooder: Thanx for the string tips. I remember you wrote about them in another thread too!
Cheers!
These really are heavy metal guitars. Mine weighs more than my Vintage LP-100!
They're loud as hell for acoustic, too! (I always get told by Dad, "Use a lighter pick!")
Beautiful! I really love the cutaway and the shape of the lower bout. I now have Dire Straits' Money for Nothing in my head.
Likey!
Really cool.
Thanx guys. I definitely am in love with this piece!
The cutaway and "14 frets design" makes it really nice to play on the upper frets too, something I often miss on acoustics. Here I can cosily play barre chords on the 12th fret and take it from there.
Cheers
