Title: SKB-PS-45 pedal mods questions
Post by: blearyeyes on January 15, 2015, 11:25:45 PM
I have a SKB-PS-45 pedal board that I would like to add a few mods but I have questions.

The PS is a toroidal transformer with a secondary at 14.5 volts single tap running to 4 diodes for rectification then a large cap into the single L7089cv regulator.  then two caps on each output. So it's not isolated...hmm

The regulator is rated at 1.5 amps but I'm thinking of maybe adding a road rage or two and/or vero with another transformer for 12v and 18v.

Hate to waste all this hardware.

Help me brainstorm?

I have the same pedal board.
I'd like to see what comes of this.

Here is a possible transformer:

Does anyone know of a good place to find a multitap toroidal transformer?
