Title: Pedal Schematic Questions...
Post by: michael J on January 21, 2015, 01:30:55 AM
Hey guys, so I'm working on my next project and I have a few questions and want to make sure I am heading in the right direction with this pedal before I start purchasing components. Here is the Schematic and the listing of things I am planning on buying. I am new to this, so feel free to critique or comment on anything I may be doing wrong... lol

First question is, What is the IC1A  (LM833N) and the IC1B  (LM833N) and what do the numbers 1,2,3 and 5,6,7 mean. and where is the 4? lol What am I missing on this part????

ALL help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hey, well that's a schematic that i did  ;D

IC1A and IC1B are the two halves of the op amp (chip). The numbers correspond to the pins of the chip. Pin 4 and Pin 8 are shown in the power section of the schematic.

Ian, its funny, your schematic and single sided layout for this has been the most linked/viewed post on my blog. It seems like it got a bunch of attention the last 2 months. Not sure whats causing it but I still rock my pedal with your PCB in it and still love it.
