Title: Retrograde Project
Post by: nimane9 on January 24, 2015, 06:26:20 AM
Hi everyone!

I was wondering if anybody here could do me a huge favor and check to make sure this (http://www.mouser.com/ProjectManager/ProjectDetail.aspx?AccessID=036035953b) Mouser order has all of the parts for the Retrograde (http://www.madbeanpedals.com/projects/Retrograde/docs/Retrograde_2014.pdf) project? I'm afraid that I might have some of the capacitor values wrong.

Thanks.

this thread has links to a lot of projects on mouser, than give a good idea of what product series to go with

some of the caps in your list are several hundred volts and their lead spacing may be too big

i'm not familiar with the resistors you have, but the Xicon 1% ones follow an easy part formula
271-PART VALUE-RC

for example,   271-1k-rc

Those 100n capacitors are the only ones I could find on mouser. It looks like the panasonic capacitors are discontinued. Am I missing something? Or am I just out of luck for buying those on mouser?

Thanks.

They definitely have 100n, they have everything.  It's just that particular Panasonic ones are gone.  Check for 50 or 63 volts dc.  Also, look for an older madbean pedal that has a 100n cap, and see what's on that bill of materials in the one link
