Title: A noise limiting mod for the Zero Point dual
Post by: MarkL on January 27, 2015, 12:38:34 AM
I like the Green LED-to-ground trick to limit noise I've seen in a few projects, including the Dirtbaby.  I'd like to try incorporating this into my Zero Point DD build, but I'm not sure on which PT2399 chip I should place this component.  I have a feeling it's IC2, but don't want to make a mistake if the mod is better placed on IC3.  Any suggestions?

You would do it on IC2. I do not think you would have to put one on both chips. But, I have not tried the LED thing with more than one chip yet.

Well...I'll give it a try on both chips via breadboard experimentation and see if there's a benefit.  If there is a benefit, I'll report back with what I come up with.
