Title: Some weird problems with the Zero Point DD
Post by: MarkL on January 31, 2015, 04:26:32 AM
I've just built up the ZPDD, and I'm having the following trouble:

1.  I included the "tails" mod and put it on a second switch...the delay only seems to work when the tails add-on is receiving power; otherwise there's no delayed signal.

2. With each delay signal, there is a descending pitch.  So if I strum an "a", the first repeat sounds like an a flat, and the second sounds like a g, text.

3.  After about 20 seconds...there are no repeats at all.

4.  The Feedback pot, when maxed, doesn't provide endless repeats.  They fade out as though it was turned up about half way.

So I've clearly done something wrong.  Any guesses or suggestions?

Bump....

Really?  Nobody has any idea what I did wrong here or how I could fix it based on what I've described?

The only thing I can think of is that your current mirror is failing somehow. Did you take voltages on the PT2399 chip?
