Title: Doppleganger
Post by: Droogie on February 02, 2015, 05:29:41 PM
Built a stripped-down Doppleganger—really wishing I had put the dual lfos on a stomp. Hmmm, might have to build another one with all the bells and whistles. This thing sounds killer! Between this and Drolo's Liquid Mercury (still to box), phasing might be covered—until the next one comes out  :)  No noise problems even without the shielded cable, and knobs and labels to follow. Thanks to Lace and Alan for making this available!

Mmmmm :) You can fit all the features into a 1790NS (including dry out), just need to be careful/creative with the drilling.

Nicely done!

NICE VARIANT :)

Its interesting how you wired a bypass LED.
Any  reason for not wanting the flashy green LEDs?

I believe Bean used LFO and Vibe toggles for his Dopp, which was the inspiration.

Didn't realize until I was well into the process that there was no stock LED indicator and I'd already popped the green LEDS in a non-showing position. I just hit the switch with a DMM to figure out which ground would do the trick for on/off LED.

I'm going to go with clear Davies-style knobs on this one.

That enclosure color is really nice.  Tidy build, WD :)
