Title: SILVERFOX - Trimpots - Poten...
Post by: HM on June 16, 2010, 04:21:42 PM
hi do a query, there would be any problems in the project silverfox (LTD) if replacement Trimpot=trimmers  50k / 10k per potentiometers 50kb and 10kb
could indicate whether someone can change or affect the Sound,
thanks

Changing the trimpots will add/subrtact more range to the filters they control.  If you increase the value of the trimpots, the range will be greater, but also less sensitive to small turns in the pot.

Thanks again for the response, there trimpots to place outside the box?
I can not find it anywhere

Trimpots mount on the board, inside the box.

Yes, you can use potentiometers instead of trimpots for the bass and mid controls. Use linear pots, not audio/log pots.
