Teh interwebz is not my friend today. What exactly is spectral bypass vs buffered vs true bypass?

Spectral bypass in the Doppelganger is where the signal still goes through the filters when bypassed, it's just that the filters are not sweeping (LFO's are not on.) Spectral colours the bypassed sound.

Ohhhh, why would that be desirable?

Sometime people want a "warts and all" vintage sound *shrug*

Lace's build doc describes how to jumper the board for only true bypass and leave out the switch for spectral.

I put the switch in, I was just curious for knowledge sake.
