The Egghead docs spec 9mm Alpha Pots. They look like right angle PCB mount:

The ones I'm seeing are not right angle like the pictures in the egghead docs imply:

That would definitely be an option. You could bend the pics and cut off the mounting pins on the sides. Or you can use these, which is what the daughterboard is designed for:

I'm sure there are other suppliers but I'm not totally certain on who...
