Title: BC549b or BC549c

Will a Bc549b work in place of a BC549c? I have a bunch of bc549b's. Wanting to build Weener wah and Collosalus.

Should work in a wah. There are a limited number of applications where the b or c will matter the c is manufactured to tighter tolerances. I would socket and swap npns to taste

I believe C is also higher gain. Won't matter for a buffer, though. When it comes to gain related I use the C one.

I used the b and c in a wah and the c got better results
