Hey gang

I'm building my first Klone and the place where I get my components from deosn't stock the 1n4742 diode. Can any tell me if these 1n4742a I found on ebay will do the trick? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MULTICOMP-1N4742A-DIODE-ZENER-12V-1W-Price-For-5-/171118812964?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item27d779df24

If it helps for the other diodes and IC's I'm using:
1N34A x2
1N4001 x2
TC1044SCPA x1
TL072CP x2

I think you can use any 12v or 9.1v zener there. But I'm not sure

Hi Guybrush. The Zener diode in this situation just limits the voltage that can reach the charge pump. The Zener you linked from ebay would work fine. Micromegas is right when he said that the 9.1 volt zener would work also. Happy kloning....
