Title: Yellow Shark to Sweet Honey?
Post by: Roctopus on June 16, 2011, 11:33:43 PM
Hey gang,

A while back ago I built a Yellow Shark (BJF Honey Bee) by Madbean and love it. However, I recently had a chance to run it side by side with the Mad Professor Honey Bee, which was based on the BJF Honey Bee. They sounded very close but I did notice some slight differences. First, there was a little more headroom with the volume on the Sweet Honey. The second thing I noticed was that the bottom end was tighter in the counter clockwise position of the Sweet Honey. And lastly, the Sweet Honey seemed to have a wider range with it's Focus/Nature knob.

My question would be....

How can I mod my Yellow Shark to be more like the Sweet Honey? Again, specifically getting more headroom from the volume knob and a wider range on the Focus/Nature knob with a tighter low end.

Thanks,
Roctopus

It's actually pretty different in design. There is no way to modify the YS into the Sweet Honey.

Yeah- the looseness that I wanted was never in my sweet honey. It was actually really gainy- almost a bit plexi-esque?
