Title: The EVH Sound Machine...
Post by: TGP39 on April 08, 2015, 03:42:21 AM
Hello ladies and gents.  I present to you the LaserWolf that looks so sweet because I didn't do the artwork.  :))

As you can see I used two different style of knobs because I didn't have 8 of either type, but I did have four of each. :).
I figured the larger knobs can go in the back to make it just a tad more accessible. First off I would really like to thank Brian for creating this beautiful board. I have purchased boards from many different sites, but honestly, nothing compares!
Just a little over a year ago, I couldn't build a confidence booster correctly, now I get to stare and enjoy my favorite pedal ever (that includes production pedals). This forum has truly been a godsend for me as it really helped me get through the hard times this past year. I wake up now and look forward to building and I hope that never changes. Each and every member here has helped me in some way and I am truly grateful.   Lastly, I want to thank Dan for making this killer enclosure for me. That boy has got Talent!
Ok....what's next?  The Tightmetal I just bought from Brejna or RullyWow's King of Bone?  These are the fun choices in life.

Steve.

Thank you guys. Billy: I was just looking at that pcb today shaking me head and saying how does he do it?  Very inspiring indeed.  I'll give it a go.

That's killer.  The lock washers on the I/O jacks and stomps is a smart idea, too.

:o Now I want a Laserwolf.... and I don't like Van Hallen at all.

The artwork is awesome, kudos to Dan, but the execution is gorgeous too.

This build came out excellent. I also love to mojo touches you used on the layout. Its builds like this that get me excited to do another build myself. Very inspirational.

Just noticed the bevel around the LED. There is nothing about this build I don't like? Incredible.

allrighty! man! your's looks absolutely awesome! I'm kinda ashamed to even show mine, but hey, I'm into function. I love fashion, but I have no imagination for that.

anywho, here's mine. it ain't pretty, but she's a hoss! this has got to be one of the best builds to date, at least for me. it's been built for a couple of weeks, but I've been playing with it on my test bench, and finally got'er boxed.

so without further adieu, here she is.

Layton, that looks super clean inside and you didn't wimp out by using 3pdt daughter boards. Isn't this the greatest sounding circuit ever? I'm in heaven when I use the distortion and phaser together on this thing. Brian did a great job.

LOL. As soon as I started building mine I went looking how to play "unchained" too.
Still need to get the matched tranny's. Anybody have a source?

I kind of want one of these now... Must... Remain.... Strong....

For real though that's the coolest looking pedal I've seen in a while.
