Title: Uproar with PRES MOD
Post by: flanagan0718 on April 14, 2015, 08:09:40 PM
Hey guys,
Here is the bane of my existence. Just kidding, this is the Uproar I've been having issues with (all mistakes on my part nothing wrong with the layout or documentation). I finally got it up and running. Great build, and this thing is F$CKING METAL!!! So much gain!. It sounds great and the PRES MOD adds that little extra umph that you need sometimes. I recommend it to anyone looking for a distortion build. Here are some pictures

I unfortunately gave it to the person I built it for before I could record a demo...wah wah  :-\. But I am very pleased with how this came out. I went for the distressed look that Rej seems to nail every time he builds a pedal. anyways. Thanks for the awesome layout and documentation Brian. Thanks for reading.

That's beautiful work, Mike.  Is this the PCB you threw against the wall?  If so, great recovery.

It is...I etched a new board and started fresh. Probably the best move. Thanks for the kind words.

It's a presence switch that adds a cap in series with another. It is in the build doc located in the discontinued boards

Yeah I was thinking of doing all three but I decided to do just the two. Plus I was trying to keep the cost down a little...collage kid, as it is I pretty much gave this thing away.
