Here we have an smd fuzz factory layout I did, dubbed "fuzz u".
The word cloud is "you told me that you loved me."
Not autobiographical, just inspired by a prince video I saw a while ago and pinched the crying figure from.
Wish I'd spaced the pots a little farther apart so I could get some regular knobs on them. I have a few ideas but haven't implemented yet.
The power jack was a royal pain in the drawers. I'm going to replace it in the near future but a little distressed from the install.
The led is filed into the shape of a heart, and the sides filled in with black sharpie.
Real germs.
I did the powdercoat in gunmetal grey sparkle, with some dormant red sprinkled on by hand, which was then coated in clear
powder. Laser etched the graphics and filled in outline with colored pencils so that it didn't look like a puddle of blood.
Fun circuit!

Thanks for looking!
Man you've been up to some cool stuff...! Looks killa and what a great way of putting it together!
you definitely have been busy. The finish is really unique
This is true artistic beauty, but it makes me sad. Luckily, it has smd and pth components and that makes me happy. Damn, I looked at the graphics again...no I'm sad again. :o
split personality Steve.
I love everything about this. Fantastic build with great graphics and art and perfect surgically precise execution. Worthy of love no question about it
man that 1590A smd build is just crazy :)

layout is killer man! and the finish... no words. You should have called it "pocket fuzz" or something like that, is so cute you could use it as a key chain.
the dc jack got barely in there right hahah only because you couldn't look at the output jack being not in line with the input one hahah :))
Very cool!

Every part of this is killer.
Wow that's great! I think it looks sleek without knobs.
Thanks guys! Deeply appreciate the kind words.
I have an idea for knobs. But I might leave it without too
The power jack was painful because of one small detail:
You can't turn the nut. I had to spin the jack instead and those threads are pretty whack already. And too true about not lining up the other jacks..!
Don't be sad Steve. This is a pedal for healing. ;)

Me too.. plus its a Fuzz Factory, does anyone really care where the knob indicators really are on this circuit. Twiddle until you find your sound. LOL

So true! Lots of variety in this circuit.
omg! they're all so tiny! love it man, super slick
Thanks!
Awesome Billy! Your enclosure is also playing mind games with me :| Those graphics are cool as!
Wow! Awesome build!
Actually, I like that you did not put any knobs on the potentiometers, it does not seems as "messy with so much knobs to dial" as in the original one
Thanks guys, fun circuit!
8) amazing micro-engineering. 8)
Beautiful work!
Nice layout and build, Billy. The etch and finish are way cool.
You slay me.
It's so small it makes my eyes hurt.
I can't do that.
I'd drop it and loose the pedal.
Unique and stylish......Killer build
Thanks guys! Really appreciate the nice comments especially since there is so much variety and humbling work to be seen on this forum.
Dan, can't lose it if it's always plugged in. ;)
And the bigger they are, the harder they fall.
Seriously though, I like the small boxes because I can put 4-5 in a gig bag without lugging a big pedal board along. Not that I do that very often anymore but it happens.
And once you get past the layout challenges, they are very fun to do.
