Title: Signal chain switch
Post by: GoldenPotus on January 26, 2016, 07:35:20 PM
I am building an overdrive, fuzz, and compressor in one enclosure and I want to add a switch that will allow me to place the compressor before of after the dirt pedals. How would I go about this?

Google "Effects order switcher schematic" and you will get quite a few hits back. For example, this one:

Rather than use send and return jacks, you will just use wire to go to the ins and outs of the circuit bypass switches. You can use a 3PDT if you don't want to use an LED or don't have access to a 4PDT. The 'A' section could be your compressor, and the B section be the fuzz and over drive. Or flip it around, doesn't matter too much.

Good! I'm seeing now my photo isn't coming up. Did it work before?
