Title: Little Angel revisited.
Post by: Willybomb on January 27, 2016, 07:54:50 AM
So the Little Angel was my first build. It was a mess and troublesome for a lot of reasons - wire that broke constantly, poor hardware planning and placement, poor soldering if I'm honest (cleaned up a lot of blobs today!)

It was a Haberdasher etch off this layout, and I've never had any issues with lockups or any of those issues that popped up 5 years ago.  Took me a while to find the layout as that wire coming off the middle threw me for a while.

I decided to make it more durable, because again, I'm really happy with the (now beat up) artwork and it's a nice sounding chorus, so I pulled it apart today and redid all the wiring with 24aw.  Also replaced the dc jack as it was a metal sleeve insulated by some masking tape.  Removed the battery clip as I haven't made a pedal with one in years and its much neater this way too! I think it's actually somewhat gigworthy now.

So.. Front, before, after.

Great Job man! The art is pretty cool.
