Can anyone give a more a detailed description of the "Tilt" Hybrid.
I'll have the project document and a demo of it up tomorrow.
Basically, it is an SHO-type boost into a single stage Muff that uses 2n7000 transistors for diodes. That feeds into a "James" tonestack (treble and bass) and rounds out with an additional gain stage for recovery.
It also has a "saturation" switch which takes it from OD to super saturated distortion. This is done at the front-end booster section. The saturation is really noticeable on single note leads, where it sits right on the edge of too much, but not quite.
It has a nice wide range of overdrive and tone shaping. It's fairly dynamic and responds quite well to a guitar's volume knob, too. It's the type of effect where you think you have all the gain you want but realize that you can still turn the gain knob up some more :)
mmmmmmmmmmmmmm...gain.
This sounds gain-a-lishous. Is it an original project of your bean?
This sounds cool.
I loved the Rump Roast so I will probably pick one of these up as well.
I like the OD/Distortion designs you are releasing Madbean; long may they continue!

Yes, although the idea of a single stage muff sandwiched between other stuff came from Culturejam, so his idea was the inspiration.
Sounds interesting, cant wait to hear one.
Here's the completed build.
