Title: Lavache boost
Post by: sprayfe on July 06, 2011, 04:37:47 PM
I built one up with s stomp boost wiring- how discernible should the boost be?
I can't tell the difference and would love to know where I went wrong ;)
Thanks guys!

It should be quite noticeable.

The boost connects C2 to ground and shorts R5. So, one place to check is that your switch is actually making contact with ground. If you are using the switch 3PDT wiring in the doc for the boost, it's the two lugs on the middle row.

I'm going to start this project with a friend once the PCB's arrive... The question I have is I see some versions use a toggle switch or a stomp-switch for the boost (like with the original Le Lius), where can I find the wiring diagram to convert the toggle switch to a stomp?

Any help is appreciated... Thanks in advance!!

The switch in the diagram is actually a stomp switch (3pdt).  I think it's worth putting on a stomp switch.
