I briefly had a small cheap one (but it was actually pretty high quality). It was so hard for me to get used to that I ended up selling it. I think drones are awesome, but they need to make a few models that don't have hummingbird-like sensitivity for guys like me.

Of course! That's what it reminded me of... Original PS nostalgia!

Reminds me of the old DOS game Slipstream 5000. That was fun, and felt hugely fluid and fast. (Graphics, by todays standards, are shit, though.)

I'd love to do this. Watched this the other day and instantly felt a massive shift in hobby prioritization. So cool. Reminds of RC car racing (I was competitive several years ago) but way, way more badass.

Powerdrome on the ST. First game I made a null-modem cable for so I could play head to head.

I remember buying four network cards, of the 10base2 variety, so me and some mates could play Doom 1 multiplayer.

Problem the first, getting the goddamn IPX stack to bloody work. And leave enough RAM in the 640k base memory to run DooM, plus whatever else.

Problem the second, finding which shitty bloody cable had crapped itself (with no multimeters, mind.)

Problem the third, the odd crash.

Kids these days don't know just how good they have it...

Drones are fantastic, but I think there should be some control over where, and how, they can be used.

Eg. When we were on holiday in Mexico, one was buzzing around for about 20 minutes one day. I think (well...hope) the hotel were having promotional videos made.

When you are laying on the beach with your wife, both in next to nothing, with one buzzing around you, it can feel a little invasive.

Who knows what the pilot (hiding in the bushes or wherever) was up to.... they do take two hands to fly right  ;D?
