Title: Sharkfin is a great project!
Post by: stringsthings on February 29, 2016, 10:13:01 AM
Just finished building and testing out the Sharkfin.  ( I have no decent camera or else I'd put this in the build thread  :( )
It has a really good sound and has lots of variation with the controls.  A very satisfying envelope filter.  The sample and hold
is quite unique.   Makes the guitar sound like a synth.  So if anyone's on the fence about this build, I'd say go for it.  You won't
be disappointed.

Thanks for another great project, Brian!

I recently sold my mutron V build, and I've missed playing around on it. This looks like a fun project.

Yep, definately puttong a Sharkfin in my next order. The sample hold sequencer sounds like a lot of fun.

I just finished my Sample & Hold pedal derived from the Maestro FSH, and it is a ton of fun. I even enjoy the little chirps and robot whispers when the guitar isn't played.
