Title: Dual Overdrive
Post by: gorditas on March 30, 2016, 03:57:13 AM
A friend asked me to make him a dual overdrive with graphics inspired by "Back to the Future." I used two Aion boards to make a Bluesbreaker based circuit that took the best of the Morning Glory and Prince of Tone, and an OD-820 on the other side. I used a GPCB "Easy Order Switch" to allow the user to switch effect order. The other enclosures I have will come with grey knobs, but the guy who ordered this one asked for clear ones.

Nice. The use of Mr. Fusion is a classy and unobtrusive BTTF reference. This looks professional.

Very neat, very classy implementation.  I'd have put the order switch up higher out of the way of the footswitch but that's just me.  What are the two ?plugs? up next to the 9v?

On a more positive note, how did you do the labeling - is that a waterslide?

Looks really clean! Where do you put the garbage in for powering it? ;D

My guess is top mount jacks were the original thought. Then, changed to side mount...  8)

Govmnt_lacky is correct: I had hoped for top jacks, but it was just too tight in this enclosure with the graphics laid out like that, especially on the dual pot board.

This is another UV print from PPP. I think that I have perfected the process. Stay tuned for my favorite graphics to date on a batch of Rat clones!

That looks really good. Wiring is super clean, too. I'm jealous of that work!

Thanks! Here is a quick demo I did on my phone before shipping it to the owner:
