Title: Another Fuzz Face variant

I figured this might interest fellow Fuzz Face enthusiasts. It turns out several of the Thomas Organ-made Vox amps had a fuzz face type circuit it them that was labeled as a "distortion booster". This might make for an interesting variant to build, especially since there would be no controls, just on/off. Maybe this version of the circuit leans more towards the distortion side rather than the fuzz side. It definitely would have more clarity given the smaller caps on the input and where the fuzz control usually is. Obviously R402 and C404 could be eliminated to just run it off a 9v battery. The transistors were most likely the common Green/Yellow dot NPN silicons, which were usually 2N292x's. Here is the schematic:

Runs at 20V, too (nevermind didn't see the 4.7k)

The collector--emitter cap C405 shows 220uuF = 220pF?

Yes, that's 220 micro-micro Farads...or 220pF. Don't know why Thomas used to put that on all their old schematics.
