Went out of work today to find this in our University's yard: a freakin' robot band! How awesome is that?!? there's gonna be a "maker's fare" of some sort.

Also, I just handed in my PhD thesis. After 2.5 month of constant work, 6 days/week, 60-70 hours/week including stress-induced Tinnitus (hooray!), I'm finally done! you can't imagine the feeling when you slowly rename a pdf "Dissertation-Felix...pdf" Glorious! Enjoy your weekend!
Congratulations!

Also there robots look pretty cool.
I'm seeing some beers in your future!
Cheers!
Congratulations on getting the monkey off your back.
Are you thinking of postdoc'ing once you get the viva out of the way?
nice one Felix, make sure you've got that pdf backed up in a few places! ;]

Ah, the Robots come to celebrate the completion of your thesis!
Best of Luck Felix!
Robots FTW!
Well, it's officially done. Had my defense yesterday and everything went well. Another one of those once in a lifetime moments when they tell you you are now a doctor (Dr.techn. that is, equivalent to a PhD). Had a blast partying yesterday with friends and coworkers, wanted to share my happiness with you guys too.
I also want to take the opportunity to thank you. This community has become quite important to me since I joined about 2.5 years ago. I've learned tons and building pedals has kept me from slipping into insanity when stuff was getting frustrating at work (and in science it always does before it works).
Congratulations, man, that's a huge achievement!
Congratulations, Doctor!
Congrats!
Congrats dude!
Congrats, Felix! That's wonderful!
