Title: Squeezing a cupcake into a 1590LB
Post by: intrentnet7 on April 22, 2016, 05:46:56 AM
Anyone tried fitting a cupcake or other baby board into a 1590LB? I'm thinking if it's at all possible I will need to leave the footswitch out entirely thus the effect will always be on. Or maybe use one of those on/off potentiometers.  The ones that click off when turned all the way down. Thoughts?

I've been doing a few LB boards lately.  Slowly increasing my lineup:

(I just sent in a TS808 and Zendrive to PCB fab this week.)

I was looking at your LB build docs, its looks like the trimmers can be mounted on the other side so a hole could be drilled on the top for access. I see extra pads. Is that true?

Yeah, the purpose of the trimmers is to be on the bottom of the pedal.  It does mean more of a "set and forget."  The "Extra Pads" on all my trimmers is my EAGLE library for a universal trimpot (Bourns or 6mm top mount).

Can you put the trim pots so that they're accessible from the top of the enclosure... well, MAYBE.  I'm not sure where the trimpots will be in reference to the 1/4" guitar plugs.

I've already got the cupcake board so... anyone else tried to fit baby boards into one of these tiny little enclosures?
