Title: Gary Moore in a Box
Post by: juansolo on April 27, 2016, 05:42:59 PM
Gary Moore in a Box was the idea.  Marshall Guvnor clone on a Fuzzdog PCB, into a 1776 Rub-a-Dub Reverb into our own Big Omar. Sounds huge and sustains forever. 2nd pedal this week for 4000mile Phil.

I hope my dad does not see this... lol I might be forced to make something simular. I kind of expected to open this tread and see:

LOL

Super clean build man.

Personally I'd probably swap the reverb for a delay, but it does get close to that very gainy, endless sustain tone thing he does.

Gary Moore is the man for sure. What's a big Omar?

Fet booster based on the Baby Boobtube (itself based on the first stage of an AC15).

I have a ridiculous surplus of them* given the lack of interest in the pedals... If there's enough interest in the boards I could do a group buy thinking about it. It might recover some of the costs.

* Which I'm actually not that bothered about as I plan to cover the costs of all the recent PCBage with the current brace of multi's that are going out... Hopefully...

Very nice!

I love that there is only one bypass switch. I respect anyone that is fully committed to all the effects in the box.  8)

I want to do that with the Cleggy's Gilmourizer, but he won't let me :( Won't even let me do it with one stomp and toggles. PAH!  >:(
