A friend of mine asked if I'd build a 6-in-1 for his son's birthday. I've built three other pedals for him, so I said sure. I have a few questions. First- where can I get large enclosures and what are the standard sizes for something maybe 6"x 12"? Also, would you alter this order of the effects: Unicorn buffer, SHO, KOTB, Madbean 1590G chorus, delay, reverb? How do you mount boards to an enclosure? With so many, they probably need to be more secure than usual. What is a good, basic mini board to attach the switches to so that I can daisy chain the power? What were your revelations when you added a bunch of boards into one effect? If I can get any advice from people who have learned from their experience, I'd appreciate it.

Slow down, don't over think it . Lectric-fx makes some great stomp boards. It's really no different thank building a one off. Not sure where to punt you for a large enough enclosure. Is probably use a flipper switch between some of those effects. Also consider an extra effects loop. Also, make sure your stomps are far enough apart his foot doesn't step on more than one at a time.

i highly recommend that you ground everything only once and to a common point. this can help mitigate noise. look up star grounding for an idea of what this means.

You can find these cheaper elsewhere. Don't know if you have to re-enforce them in the middle or not.
They were made in So. Cal. US by LMB Heeger Project Boxes and Enclosures. Google them.
I have seen multis with the ins and outs of each circuit run through normalled jacks. If you want to re-arrange them or run them to separate amps you can use patch cables. If you pull all the cables the circuits are back to what you had. Not very elegant and with 6 it is a bit much.
Honestly, you may want to think about two 3-in-1's. However, if you are gung ho... I recommend the Hammond 10 degree sloped console in 17x11 or 20x11:

Try to pic pcbs that have board mounted pots. This will help with your issue of securing them.
