Title: Naughty Fish 2nd LED always on?
Post by: clifford on June 18, 2016, 03:26:26 PM
Hello.

I just finished my Naughty Fish build and am very happy with the results. It sounds amazing and although fitting it inside a 1590B was tricky, I eventually got it running in one day.

One thing I'm not sure of is that my 2nd LED light is always on, even when the pedal is not turned on. Is this right?

That LED is an indicator that reacts to your picking and is always in an 'on' state. It will dim or light up depending on where the "Range" switch is set. If it bugs you, you could re-wire the cathode (neg side) of the LED to your bypass switch (same as where you bypass LED indicator is wired to) which would turn it off completely in bypass.

Okay, I finally figured it out. My enclosure was too tight and it was pressing down on something, causing a short I think so the light stayed on continuously. I have since put it in a much roomier 125B and now it works fine.
