Title: moodring capacitor question
Post by: okeephoss on July 03, 2016, 01:29:38 AM
Says the electrolytic caps should be 16 or 25v... I'm having a hard finding the 1uF's in that range.  Gotta ton at 50v... Can I use these?? thx

You can definitely use those. You just don't want to ever go lower than the suggested voltage. You just have to be sure the higher rated cap will fit (they sometimes get bigger as the voltage rating gets higher). I think you're safe with a 1uF cap, because they stay pretty small

I figured as much.  Just wanted to make sure... This board calls for 8 of em so just double checking... Thanks
