Title: Fixing DC Jack to the Enclosure
Post by: Wind on July 27, 2011, 03:27:41 PM
Hi! Recently i ordered a wolfshirt pcb and parts for it from SmallBear. When i got the parts i saw that the dc jack was built kind of weird (http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=615) - i cant think of a way to attach it to the box. The Last Effect i built was a Red Llama Poject from ggg and the dc jack that came with it had the mechanism to attach it to the box like the 1/4" jacks have (I dont really know how it called in english).
It would be really nice if you guys will be able to help me in this.

Yeah, I think this is what you were looking for. http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=93

You can use that one though.  You'll have to notch the enclosure out with a square and it's a real pain.
