Title: Rangemaster aka "Texan"
Post by: sgmezei on July 27, 2011, 05:43:37 PM
The classic treble booster. I used the blend Q pot to adjust the frequency boosted (4n7 and 1uf). Used an OC44 and a road rage to power it up.

That's a pedal I wouldn't want to mess with!
Texas pride is a serious matter  ;D

hahaha Thanks guys. I thought it would be a cheeky kind of idea and take off of the theme. Sounds good. This one is actually a lot more gritty/gainy than others I have built. I am digging it.

Very nice. How did you wire the input blend pot?

Well,

I read this topic and had also built a runoffgroove omega boost which uses the same idea. I wired the caps on the pots with wire running to the board. I really like it. I built it stock first but really did not like the normal switch. I like that its variable now.

Thanks, I had seen it on some schematics, but was brain-locked on how to implement it.
