Hey,
I searched but couldn't find anything. It really is not important but I'm just curious...
Is there a reason why the Dirtbaby BOM specifies to use 3x tl062 (instead of tl072 that are more common)?
Is it just to avoid lfo ticking and out of convenience (buying 3 times the same chip)? Is it power considerations?
Thanks! :)
TL062 is the preferred chip for the LFO due to its lower current consumption. You can use TL072 for the audio path just as easily. Or, JRC4558 like the DMM.
Great, that's what I thought then.
That was fast! :)
Cheers!
