For standard center negative, which tab do I wire to ground and which gets the hot wire? I am assuming the long tab is power and short is ground but want to confirm.

Thanks!
use a multimeter on continuity setting to check! With the lumberg ones I use (they look alike) the long tab is the outer ring and the short one the centre pin. but make sure! you don't want to invert power
Even though I use the same jack on all my pedals, I always solder the wire to it, then check with my multimeter. Who knows if I'm distracted, tired, or just not thinking and accidentally solder it in backwards. If I do, I wouldn't think to check that when it doesn't work, and I don't want to risk burning something else up (I hate desoldering).
Long positive and short negative. If you ever need to check, do what i do, flick through the 7 min fuzz build doc, its on page 6 :)

This might sound stupid, but I always refer back to Juansolo's internal photo of his ZPSDX pedal for gnd/+9V tab on those jacks :)
I use the same 2 DC jacks on all of my builds. I have never assumed I have the right lug for my 9v. I usually end up plugging in my 9v supply to the unwired Jack then testing it with my DMM.
