Title: Gravity wave voltage regulator
Post by: sambego on September 04, 2016, 07:31:53 PM
Hi guys,

Thanks for making the gravity wave available for the DIY community!
I'm trying to re-create the gravity wave in eagle as an exercise, I've arrived at the DC input section and there's this part in the schematic (Indicated in red in the first attachment). I think it's the LM78L05, but I'm not sure. When I place an LM 78L05 from the gm-regulators library, it looks completely different.

Am I wrong, or could somebody point me in the right direction?

What you have in red are the power rails for the opamp chips. Check out pin 1 of IC2/PT2399 to find the regulator.

little tip regarding the power pins. Usually once you place all the parts of an IC (eg. the two opamps in a TL072), the power pins will be the next thing to appear automatically. With some parts this doesn't happen. If this is the case, use the 'invoke' tool to make it show up.

have fun solving the design puzzle

Thanks for the responses guys, the invoke tool gave me these power rails!

Let's continue this puzzle :D
