Title: Bloviator
Post by: madbean on October 31, 2016, 02:16:41 PM
I forgot how much I like the Bloviator. It adds touch sensitivity and cleans up the guitar in a nice way. Done here in a 1550P with comically large knobs.

Man, you are building maniac! I haven't done this one yet. Tempting :D

...also, you need to consider larger knobs ;)

The Bloviator has literally stopped me from selling a couple of guitars.  One I remember most vividly (and full disclosure, is gone now, but held on for a lot longer than I thought it would) with a MIM Tele with a SD Broadcaster set in it.  Should have been a great guitar, but just never had "it".  Was up for sale when I was boxing up a Bloviator, and I grabbed the Tele to try it out.  Night and day difference on the guitar.  Pulled the listing down about 5 minutes after the last screw went in the box.

cool stuff.
Glad to see that pedal building is still fun even if you are doing pedal related pcb design full time.
