Title: Uproar: killing toggle switch
Post by: ben_allison on August 07, 2011, 12:21:32 PM
I just want to hard-wire my Uproar to use the middle position, and remove the toggle. What's the easiest way to do this?

Thanks!

Are you referring to the clip toggle switch? Middle position is D8 and D9 so you could probably only install those. I haven't built it yet, maybe someone else can give you more advice.

Yes sorry, the clipping toggle. Not sure if I'd have to jumper anything, etc?

Nope, just leave out D1 through D7, and also R13 and R14. If it's already built with all of the components and the toggle, just remove the toggle and the wires to the PCB. It won't hurt to leave D1 - D7, R13 and R14 in place. They are out of the circuit with the toggle gone.

Wow... that's easy! Thanks!
