Title: Boomstick: Sub and OD mod on 1-sided board
Post by: stecykmi on August 18, 2011, 01:01:38 AM
handy little wiring diagram for those etching at home. component numbering is a little messed up on the 1-sided diagram so take care when you're populating. Also note that the switched capacitor (the 0.47uF in my diagram) can be as large as you can fit since 1uF is considered "stock". i suggest 0.68uF or 1uF. let me know of any questions.

I'm about to start building this on an etched board from haberdasher. Is this diagram correct? Am I right in thinking that r19 is left off the board entirely with these mods and that the switch with the resistor goes to ground? Could you please help me understand it a little clearer?

Should the switches be 2 way or 3 way toggle switches? I have either and each has three lugs on it.

Also what do you mean when you say the component numbering is messed up? What is wrong about it that I need to know about before I start to build this?

Sorry if I'm being a bit thick!

Thank you for any help or advice offered.
