Title: Germanium and copper fuzz face
Post by: jimilee on February 05, 2017, 10:22:14 PM
Built this on a fuzz master pcb, sounds really good. Found this copper measuring cup and immediately grabbed it. It's obviously very old, which adds to the characteristics I think. Not sure how I feel about the knobs and I need to find something to fashion a bottom to it as well.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170205/5911f971b800b1db2579ff72c65666a1.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170205/aab67a1b426e2a5a43b93adb632a63c1.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170205/497ae29f1b5e2cbb3783e724f7aa7234.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170205/11b326513c65d6fdf0246647a2ad6ca3.jpg)

What a great build in a weird enclosure!

Pretty unique.

How well does the copper stand up to being stomped on?

It's a bit soft, I'm working on that. Most likely it will never be used in a real situation though.
