Title: Switch Schematic Help
Post by: MilkyWayAudio on February 12, 2017, 01:27:49 AM
I'm trying to replicate part of a schematic and was wondering if what I have done is equivalent to the original. Also if someone could explain the rule to what would make this work/not work that would be great!

Thanks for the help!!  ;D

Those aren't equivalent for two reasons:
1. In the top schematic with the 1P3T switch, FX IN is always connected to the bias voltage through the resistor/capacitor network, even if the switched part is not connected to the res/cap network.
2. The resistor values connected to the bias voltage are different.
