Title: Mooring modulation
Post by: DGWVI on February 15, 2017, 12:56:00 AM
So, I'm building a Moodring soon, and was wondering what MOD boards could be used within. I've seen the posts about the GC board being used, just curious about other options

you the belton brick has a slight triangular mod already in it right?

You could put virtually anything in the feedback loop. Take the lug 3 pad for the DWELL control to the input of your favorite modulation circuit and connect the output to lug 3 of the pot, maybe? Might be fun to stick a Smoothie in there.

The Belton Brick does have some built-in modulation which is more noticeable on the "long" brick. With the dwell up, this might be all the modulation you need. Otherwise the Grind Customs board connected to the PRE-DELAY is probably your best bet.

P-LFO it is, then. I'm gonna be ordering some other Grind boards anyway. Probably going to just go with the medium brick, as I'm not really into the ambient thing
